LONg course competitive:
White i, silver & senior
Blue Waves Swimmers from White I, Silver & Senior swimmers are automatically accepted. Junior, Blue, and White II must get coach approval to participate in Long Course Competitive meets and should attend Developmental practices unless otherwise noted by coach. All new swimmers must try out, space is limited. You must be a West Suburban YMCA member in order to participate on the Long Course Meters Team and you must compete in meets.
Swimmers who do not wish to compete in meets should enroll in the Spring/Summer Developmental Team. Swimmers competing for West Suburban YMCA during the summer season may not compete for another USA-S or YMCA registered team as this is against YMCA and USA Swimming rules. SPRING & SUMMER DEVELOPMENTAL:
JUNIOR, BLUE & WHITE ii
Blue Waves Swimmers from Junior, Blue, and White II will automatically be accepted. All new swimmers must try out, space is limited.
This group will focus on stroke refinement and technique. This is for swimmers looking to keep up their competitive level and improve their strokes, as well as swimmers looking to prepare to advance to the next training level of Blue Waves Swimming. Participation in swim meets is not required – there will be an opportunity to swim at the Summer Invitational Meet (June 1-2).
