Camp Polliwog & Polliwog Creative Arts

Camp Polliwog is for our youngest campers and is held right here at the Y. The camp is split into two groups based on age. Polliwog I is for children ages 3 ½ to 5. Polliwog II is for children ages 5 to 6 ½. We also have Polliwog Creative Arts Camp (PCAC), which emphasizes music, drama and the arts.

Camp Fun for Your Preschooler

Whether your child wants to dress up as Spiderman or knows all of the scientific names of dinosaurs, we are prepared! We love sparking children’s interests and making each day at camp fun and exciting. This could include imagining we’re at the circus for the day or deep sea divers hunting for treasure.

Children will LEARN how to swim with experienced and caring swimming instructors who make swim lessons fun and unforgettable. (PCAC does not offer swim lessons but campers do have an opportunity for free swim throughout the week.)

After the sunscreen is applied, the outdoor fun can begin on the Y’s playground or New Balance Track & Fields! Campers run around and participate in traditional games such as Fishy-Fishy Cross My Ocean or What Time is Mr. Fox?

Campers participate in all art activities planned accordingly to the session’s theme. Painting, gluing, cutting, paper mache, science experiments and so much more! Art Activities that will prepare any young child for Preschool or Kindergarten.
