136 years ago, the West Suburban YMCA planted the seeds of community, now we grow them stronger.

We are a cornerstone of our community. We are known and beloved for our enriching programs and welcoming environment. Our enduring value derives from our role as a caring nonprofit partner as we strengthen families through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. 

Our success is measured by the lives we touch. Last year, we gave back $300,000 in financial assistance to over 450 local families and children in need allowing them to participate in our value-based programs and summer camps. 

We believe everyone regardless of age, income or background should have the opportunity to learn and grow with us. This is why our Annual Fund is so important. It ensures no one is turned away for economic reasons and everyone is guaranteed the opportunity to become a member of our Y family.
