We Are Fixing our Boiler Problem!
On Monday, August 4, we began another phase of the 276 Church Street improvements as part of The Legacy Campaign for Youth & Families.
This project of installing two new boilers is a huge undertaking, but the finished product will increase the efficiency of our heating system and help regulate temperatures in the pool, showers, and water throughout the facility. These new boilers will be gas and oil fired giving us the flexibility to use the fuel that is most cost effective. Removal of the old boilers and the asbestos housed in them and then the installation of our new boilers will be completed by October 31.
Construction will be primarily in the rear of the building and at times traffic flow and parking may be affected. We will do our best to keep the back parking lot open for parking, but we do ask for your cooperation and understanding.
Please keep your children away from the site... the trucks are fun to look at, but are also dangerous!
Please drive with extra caution throughout the parking lot as children and adults may be taking different routes to and from the building.
