New Camps Director Hired at West Suburban YMCA
The West Suburban YMCA is pleased to announce that Ashley Dooley Wohlgemuth recently joined the staff as Executive Director of its Camping Services Branch. Wohlgemuth will oversee the YMCA's four camps which include a resident camp, Camp Frank A. Day, in East Brookfield, MA, and three summer day camps, Camp Chickami in Wayland, MA and Camps Polliwog and Pikati in Newton, MA.
Wohlgemuth has an extensive amount of experience overseeing residential camps and children's programs most recently as the Executive Director of the YMCA of Greater Salt Lake, UT. She received her undergraduate degree in Marketing and International Business from Kansas State University and her Masters of Business Administration from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Wohlgemuth notes, "I am very excited to have joined the West Suburban YMCA team. It is wonderful to be part of an organization that believes in leading the community and making a difference in the lives of people."
