Lifeguard Training

3-Day Crash Course - Lifeguard Training

This course is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification course. The purpose of this course is to train professional rescuers in the skills necessary to recognize and to provide lifesaving care to individuals in the water. Pre-requisites include being 15 years of age, completing a 300 yard swim (combination of crawl stroke and breaststroke) and must be able to surface dive to retrieve a 10lb brick and swim 20 yards. In order to receive certifications, participants must be able to complete all practical skills and pass a written exam. CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications included. Minimum of 5 participants needed in order for the course to run.

Participants must be able be 15 years of age or older, must be able to swim 300 yards continuously (combination of breaststroke and front crawl), and submerge and retrieve a 10lb brick and swim 20 yards.
