Conveniently located in Wayland, MA on Camp Chickami’s beautiful 26 acre property, the Chickami Challenge Course offers 9 low ropes elements and eight high ropes elements spread across three challenge course areas. With a variety of personalized programming opportunities we have the tools to accommodate any group.
Anyone can benefit from a day at the course. So come on out with your friends, co-workers, students, or team to experience the power of play.
Staff and Safety
We take safety very seriously at the Chickami Challenge Course; therefore our staff is trained and tested in accordance with the Massachusetts Department if Public Safety challenge course regulations. In addition they meet the YMCA requirement of First Aid and CPR training. As proud members of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) we ensure our course and equipment are regularly inspected to meet all technical and safety regulations set forth by the ACCT and Mass DPS.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of program formats to fit your needs. From an action packed half day on the high elements to multi-day corporate training seminars, we provide the right experience for your group. We also offer birthday party programs for all ages. See below for complete descriptions.
Half Day High Elements Challenge – 3 hours
After an ice-breaker or two, your team has the chance to challenge themselves while supporting each other on our High Elements Challenge Course. Tackle some of our exciting tree-based elements like the Burma Bridge, Flying Squirrel, and the Giant Swing. Facilitated by our trained staff, the high elements allow for a great balance of teamwork and personal challenge.
Youth - $30 / person Community Adult - $40

Half Day Low Ropes Challenge – 3 hours
The Low Ropes Challenge program offers a mix of games and initiatives designed to encourage teamwork, communication, leadership, and problem solving. We tailor the program to address your goals. Our low element initiatives such as the Up and Over Wall, Nitro Crossing, Moby Deck, and Wild Woozy offer the same excitement as the high ropes, but closer to the ground! With the opportunity to set goals and common values, the Low Ropes Challenge Course can be a great alternative to staff meetings and is perfect for well established or newly formed teams.

Full Course Challenge – 6 hours
Our full day challenge gives your team the chance to experience all that the Chickami Challenge Course has to offer. Your team progresses from ice breakers and energizers into challenging low ropes initiatives sure to provide plenty of topics for group debriefs. After lunch it’s time for climbing and a chance to push personal limits with the support of your team. Our experienced facilitators work with you to tailor the day for your goals.
Youth - $40 / person Community Adult - $50

Corporate Challenge – 1/2 to 2 Days
Our Corporate Challenge takes your professional team to the next level. This individualized program carries your team through physical, mental, and emotional challenges designed to achieve your desired goals. Whether such goals foster communication, decision making, leadership, or otherwise, our activities provide the tools for group development and change. With an emphasis on debriefing and discussion our facilitators help build the bridges necessary to transfer growth back to the office.

High Element Birthday Parties - 3 hours
Looking for something new this year? Try a birthday at the Chickami Challenge Course. More than just a party, our high elements challenge course offers an exciting opportunity for team building and adventure. Our three hour programs include two and a half hours of climbing and activities, with half an hour for party time at the end.
Youth - $25 / person Adult $30

Low Element Birthday Parties - 2 hours
Not interested in the high elements? Our low element parties include the use of our full low element challenge course and exciting activities on our field. These two hours parties are perfect for younger children or those who want to have fun without leaving the ground.
Youth - $200 groups up to 15, $12 per participant thereafter
Adults - $250 groups up to 15, $15 per participant thereafter
