Vacation Week Programs
The Child Care Department vacation week programs provide quality child care for working families as well as a fun and engaging experience for all children during the school vacation weeks. Separated into two groups by age, children will be engaged in activities ranging from free swim and sports tournaments to creative art activities and community service projects. To enroll your child in either vacation week program, please fill out the VACATION WEEK APPLICATION and return to the address listed below.
Children age 3 years through Kindergarten
Our younger group will have an exceptional program combined with very low ratios (1 staff person for every 6-8 kids) and also includes a walking field trip to Uno's for make-your-own pizza. This walking field trip usually occurs on Thursday of each vacation week. Additionally, the children will engage in free swim on a daily basis during the morning program.
Field Trip Vacation Program (for children in grades 1-4)
These children will engage in all activities listed above, combined with daily field trips during the morning program. All field trip costs and transportation are included in the vacation week program cost. Children will have the opportunity to participate in free swim on a daily basis during the afternoon program.
Program Dates, Times and Costs:
December Vacation Program: Wednesday 12/26 through Friday 12/28
February Vacation Program: Tuesday 2/19 through Friday 2/22
April Vacation Program: Tuesday 4/22 through Friday 4/25
Morning Program (8 am to 1 pm) members $35 per day non-members $45 per day
Afternoon Program (1 pm to 4 pm) members $20 per day non-members $30 per day
Extended Day Program (4 to 6 pm) members $15 per day non-members $20 per day
