Dance

There's a new dance studio in town. We have taken over the former Newton Corner Library branch on 126 Vernon Street (right around the corner from the West Suburban YMCA).  

Regular weekly classes on Tuesdays begin October 6, 2009 and run through June 2010. 

Preschool Intro to Dance (ages 2-4): 9:00-9:30 am
Preschool Ballet/Tap (ages 2-4): 9:30-10:00 am
Hip Hop (ages 5-7): 3:15-4:00 pm
Lyrical Ballet (ages 5-7): 4:00-4:45 pm
Hip Hop (ages 8-10): 4:45-5:30 pm
Lyrical Ballet (ages 8-10): 5:30-6:15 pm

Dance Attire
Girls: dance pants, capris, leotards, tanks...anything comfy for dance!
Boys: sweatpants, T-shirt

Footwear
Preschool Intro to Dance - Ballet slippers
Preschool Ballet/Tap Combo - Ballet slippers & white tap shoes
Hip-Hop - Black jazz shoes/sneakers
Lyrical - Ballet slippers
(Our instructor can help you with all your questions about attire and dance shoes at the start of the season) 

Recital Info
We will be having a small recital at the end of our dance year, where each class will get to showcase what they've learned in a 2-3 minute dance routine! It will take place at the West Suburban YMCA in the beginning of June. More details to follow.
