Camp Frank A. Day
Camp Frank A. Day Video
On the beautiful shore of Lake Quacumquasit, campers have been learning skills and developing lifelong friendships for close to a century. Camp Frank A. Day, an American Camp Association accredited camp, serves boys and girls ages 7-15 in two-week and one-week sessions.
A typical camp day allows campers time to participate in activities of their choosing, opportunities to bond with his/her cabin mates, and instructional activity periods to work on progressing to the next skill level. All campers participate in swim lessons, teambuilding, one athletics period, plus all camp activities and special events. There is a variety of free choice activities offered that range from water activities to land sports to creative activities. Different activities are available to different age ranges. This balance of activities helps campers to develop independence, work on cooperation and gain self-esteem all-in-all helping campers to grow in spirit, mind and body.
Our facilities are clean, but rustic. Campers turn their simple one-room cabins with bunk beds and electricity into their home-away-from-home the day they move in their trunks and sleeping bags. All campers and staff unite in our historical dining hall for three healthy meals each day. After long days in the lake, on the fields and around the camp, campers clean-up in one of our two modern bathhouses with flushing toilets and hot showers.
Join us for the summer to see why Camp Frank A. Day is a great place to grow!
"This was my childs first overnight camp experience and he absolutely loved it. In his own words 'Mom, I love it [camp] and next year I want to go to all sessions. That's two months mom, two months.' I have share this statement multiple times as I'm so happy with his connection at Camp Frank A Day." -Mother of a new Camp Frank A. Day camper
